Title: Diseases of the Drugs: Childhood Vaccines (10 Rx CE in 4 parts)
Learning Objectives: This 4 part series will explore the ingredients used in vaccines routinely administered in childhood and address common questions/concerns associated with each.
PART 1 Viral Vaccines: Birth to 15 months (RECORDING): This presentation will cover measles, mumps, rubella, chickenpox, polio; route of administration vs route of entry, limitations in knowledge/understanding of the immune system, susceptibility, what’s been studied and what has not.
PART 2 Viral Vaccines: Birth to 15 months (RECORDING): This presentation will cover hepatitis A/B, rotavirus, influenza; nutrition and viral replication, autoimmunity, controversy around vaccines and neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD).
PART 3 Bacterial Vaccines: Birth to 15 months (RECORDING): This presentation will cover DTaP=Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Haemophilus influenza B, Pneumococcal conjugate; titers, vaccine manufacturers held harmless, changes in genetic expression.
PART 4 The Rest of the Childhood Vaccines: 18 months to 18 years (RECORDING): This presentation will cover TDaP=Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis, Human Papilloma Virus, Meningococcal conjugate; herd immunity, censorship across social media platforms, vaccine hesitancy and country comparisons.
