VITALIST CERTIFICATION
PROFICIENCY IN VITALISTIC CLINICAL MEDICINE
The Naturopathic Medicine Institute’s Vitalist Certification is a post-doctoral certification for Naturopathic Physicians who have been in practice for a minimum of three years. The Vitalist Certification indicates proficiency and understanding of the clinical application of the healing arts and sciences of Vitalistic Naturopathic Medicine. A Vitalist Certification is required for any Naturopathic Physician interested in earning an Naturopathic Medicine Institute Fellow Certification.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Practicing for a minimum of 3 years (can be started as an ND student)
- Must be a Naturopathic Doctor Associate member of NMI
- Graduate of an CNME accredited Naturopathic Medical School
- Licensed or registered to practice naturopathic medicine
- 500 word Essay describing: “How is Vitalism Relevant to Clinical Practice?”
- Oral Case Presentation
- Access Study Cohort / Mentorship
- Complete Required Coursework
